Archbishop Stephen speaks at Faith in the North launch

The Archbishop of York held a launch event for Faith in the North at Dewsbury Minster.

On 10 October 2023, Missioners, leaders of churches and Principals of Theological Colleges from across the North joined ArchbishopArchbishop Bishop who also presides over a group of dioceses or provinces. Archbishop Stephen gave an address about Faith in the North setting out his vision: ‘Refreshing the roots of the ChristianChristian Name originally given to disciples of Jesus by outsiders and gradually adopted by the Early Church to designate all members of the church. faith in the North, making deeper connections with history and with place’.

In his address he sets out how Faith in the North plans to share resources for prayer, for church planting, for evangelism and for pilgrimage.
