As part of the 2026 Multiply: North conference we commissioned Roy Searle and friends from the Northumbrian Collective to write a Liturgy for the North. The liturgy contains prayers and responses to help any church, small group or individual pray for the work of God across the north of England. Our hope is that as people engage with these prayers we will raise up voices together for a new thing across our region.
God of Love, we raise our prayer together for the North. Scattered and diverse, with all our differences, we are one in you. Draw us deeper into your presence, that we may hear your heartbeat for the North, for this land and its people. Anchor our hearts in your love and make us one in you. Amen.
