Join us for the launch of the The Lord’s Prayer Journey, the first in a series of resource boxsets created by FaithFaith 1. Belief and trust in someone or something. 2. Acceptance of particular religious teachings. in the North to support schools across the Northern Province. The resources will invite children and young people to explore the words of the Lord’s Prayer through the lens of “Living Well.”

This webinar will include opportunities to hear about the vision of the resource, hear how it can work in your school and ask any questions you may have. Our free resource is packed with inspiring tools designed to bring the Lord’s Prayer to life in schools.

Here’s what’s included:

Seven ready-to-use Collective WorshipWorship 1. Doing homage and giving honour and respect to God. The Bible includes a wide range of physical expression in worship, including bowing down, lifting hands, dancing, processions and singing. The main day on which Christians gather for communal worship is Sunday (the day when Christ is believed to have risen from the dead). 2. Christian liturgy including sung material and prayers of thanksgiving and praise. sessions tailored for Primary Schools, following the pattern: Gather, Engage, Respond, and Send.

  • Session 3: Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven
  • Session 4: Give us today our daily bread
  • Session 5: Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us
  • Session 6: Lead us not into temptationTemptation The inclination to do things which are known to be wrong or unhelpful, particularly the desire to resist what God wants. In the Garden of Eden the Devil in the form of the serpent tempted Eve to disobey God by eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Gospels describe how the Devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness. but deliver us from evil
  • Session 7: For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen

Prayer Spaces: Expert support to create themed Prayer Spaces centered around the Lord’s Prayer.

Interactive Lord’s Prayer Trails: Designed for use in churches, with support to build connections between schools and parishes.

Lord’s Prayer Songs: Engage students with a specially commissioned song, complete with sheet music, Makaton and BSL videos, and action guides produced by Songs for Schools.
